Dr. Farhan H Khan is a certified engineer with proven track record of state of the art research in the fields of Data Science, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning supported by numerous publications in top-tier international journals and conferences with personal impact factor of 150+. He has 20 years of professional experience in academia, product development as well as managerial positions in software industry. He completed his PhD from NUST where he was also awarded Presidents’ Gold Medal for excellent academic performance. His research has been acknowledged by HEC when he received Outstanding Research award for his research in Health Informatics. He has also been awarded Hafeez Qureshi Excellence Award. He has won Pakistan Software Houses Association (P@SHA) Gold Award for presenting Best Solution across Pakistan in Research & Development Category. He was also honored to represent Pakistan at Asia Pacific ICT Awards (APICTA) in Research & Development category.
Currently, he is a Project Director at a National Research & Development Organization in Pakistan. He is also Dy Director at Knowledge & Data Science Research Center(KDRC), NUST where he is heading NLP research group. He is actively serving as an editor and reviewer at numerous ISI-indexed journals including journals published by IEEE, Elsevier and Springer. Due to his keen interest in academics, he is affiliated as adjunct faculty with Bahria University, International Islamic University, Federal Urdu University, University of Central Punjab and many other esteemed universities across Pakistan where numerous PhD and MS students have graduated under his supervision
